1.\tWe believe that the Protestant Bible, as it exists in the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is divinely inspired, and is the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. (II Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:20-21; Matt. 5:18; 1 Cor. 2:13)<\/p>\n
2.\tWe believe that there is one God, Creator of the Universe, eternally existent in three distinguishable but indivisible persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Is.44:6-8; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14)<\/p>\n
3.\tWe believe that Jesus Christ, God the Son incarnate, conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, is truly God and truly man. He was buried, rose from the dead bodily, and ascended into heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of God the Father interceding for us. (Jn. 1:14; Lk. 1:31-34; Jn. 3:16; Phil. 2:5-8; 1 Cor. 15:3-5; Rom. 4:25; 8:34; 1 Tim. 2:5)<\/p>\n
4.\tWe believe that man was created in the image of God, that he fell into sin and was consequently separated from God. We believe that all men are sinners both by birth and choice. As a result, man is by nature depraved, under condemnation and unable to attain divine righteousness without accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour. (Gen. 1:26; Ezek. 18:4; Rom. 3:10-18)<\/p>\n
5.\tWe believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. The blood of Jesus Christ is the only basis for the remission of sins. (Eph. 2:8-9; Heb. 9:12,22; Rom. 5:11; Acts. 4:12).<\/p>\n
6.\tWe believe that, while salvation is essentially spiritual in nature, the benefits of salvation embrace the needs of the total person \u2013 spirit, soul, and body. (1 Pet. 2:24; 3 Jn. 2; 2 Cor. 8:9; 1 Thess. 5:23)<\/p>\n
7.\tWe believe that the Holy Spirit is instrumental in regeneration \u2013 that is the new birth of every person who responds to God’s Word and accepts Christ as Saviour and Lord (Jn. 3:3-8; Rom. 10:9-10); sanctification \u2013 producing a life of holiness and the fruit of the Spirit in Jesus\u2019 followers (Heb. 12:14; 2 Cor. 7:1; Gal. 5:22-23); and the experience of the baptism in the Holy Spirit manifested in our lives through the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:7-9.<\/p>\n
8.\tWe believe in the reality and personality of Satan and the eternal judgment of him and his angels. (Lk. 4:1-13; Eph. 6:12; Matt. 25:41)<\/p>\n
9.\tWe believe there are good angels God sends to guide, protect, and help His people in time of need. (Ps. 34:7; 91:11; Heb.1:14; 13:2)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
10.\tWe believe that the Church is the community of those who have accepted the divinity of Jesus Christ and chosen to be His followers. Jesus Christ is both the Head and Chief Cornerstone of this Church. The Church is both local and global. (Matt. 18:17; 16:18; 1 Pet. 2:4-7,9; 1 Cor. 12:13; Rev. 1:5-6)<\/p>\n
11.\tWe believe that the essential functions of the Church are: To worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. (Jn. 4:23-24) \u2013 To build itself up in love and unity of the faith and grow up in all aspects into Christ, the Head of the Church. (Eph. 4:11-16) \u2013 To actively engage in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ among the Nations. (Acts. 1:8; Matt. 28:19-20)<\/p>\n
12.\tWe believe in the importance of water baptism by immersion for believers. (Matt. 28:19; Acts. 2:36-38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:1-5)<\/p>\n
13.\tWe believe in the sacrament of Communion, commonly known as the Lord’s Supper, as instituted by the Lord Jesus for believers. (Matt. 26:26-29; 1 Cor. 11:23-30)<\/p>\n
14.\tWe believe in giving of our substance to the Lord as part of spiritual worship in the form of tithes and offerings. (1 Chron. 16:28; Mal. 3:10; 1Cor 16:2; Matt. 23:23)<\/p>\n
15.\tWe believe in the resurrection from the dead of believers to eternal life and unbelievers to eternal judgment. (1Cor. 15:50-54; 1Thess. 4:16-17; 2Thess.1:8-9)<\/p>\n
16.\tWe believe that Jesus Christ will return to this earth personally, visibly and bodily in power and glory to establish His eternal kingdom. (Jn. 14:3; 1Thess. 4:11,16- 17; Acts. 1:11)<\/p>\n
17.\tWe believe that a local church should have one Senior Pastor, who serves as the head of the church along with a team of Elders and\/or Associate Pastors who serve alongside him in leading the church. We believe all of these men should meet the qualifications given in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9 for serving in the role of a Pastor\/Elder.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
